How to Set Up an Amazon Flex Bot with FlexShark

Step-by-step setup guide to connect Amazon Flex, configure filters, schedule FlexShark, and review results responsibly.

Setting up an Amazon Flex bot works best when you start with clear rules. The goal is not to accept every block. The goal is to find blocks that match your schedule, stations, and minimum earnings target.

This guide explains the basic FlexShark setup flow. For the full product overview, see What is FlexShark? and the main Amazon Flex bot guide.

Step 1: Create your FlexShark account

Start by creating a FlexShark account and verifying your email. This keeps your settings, schedules, and filters tied to your account. After login, review the dashboard so you know where to manage your schedule, filters, recent blocks, and membership status.

Step 2: Connect your Amazon Flex session

FlexShark needs a valid Amazon Flex session to check and interact with offers. Follow the in-app connection instructions carefully. If your session expires later, reconnect before running scheduled automation again.

You should only use accounts and sessions you control. Avoid sharing credentials with third parties and always review current Amazon Flex policies before using automation.

Step 3: Choose stations and filters

Filters are the most important part of setup. Add the pickup stations you actually want to drive from. Then set a minimum amount, preferred time windows, and block rules that match your real availability.

Do not start too broad. A broad filter may find more offers, but many of them may be poor matches. A tighter setup is easier to evaluate and usually produces better decisions.

Step 4: Schedule focused bot windows

Open the schedule page and choose the days and times when you want FlexShark to run. Short, focused windows are usually better than leaving automation on all day. Early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be worth testing, but every market behaves differently.

The best times guide explains how to test local release patterns.

Step 5: Review and adjust weekly

After a few days, review recent blocks and missed opportunities. If a station rarely produces good offers, remove it. If your minimum pay is too high for your area, adjust it carefully. If one time window performs better than others, give it more attention.

FlexShark works best as a controlled scheduling tool. Start conservative, measure results, and improve your setup over time.

Check account readiness before your first search

The Dashboard brings together the conditions needed to start searching. Check that your Amazon account is connected, your demo or paid access is available, and there are no billing issues requiring attention. If a connection has expired, use Connect Amazon Account again before restarting the bot. The guidance videos walk through the connection screen.

Open Filters and select the stations you can realistically reach. Review the minimum pay, duration, days, and arrival-time rules together: an offer has to meet the configured conditions. A high minimum amount combined with a short duration and one station may leave very few matching offers. Start with settings you understand, then change one condition at a time when reviewing results.

Search windows and block times are different

Schedule controls when FlexShark searches. Filters control which delivery blocks it can accept. An evening search window does not, by itself, mean that only evening delivery blocks will be accepted; use the block-time and day filters for that.

For example, if you can deliver on Saturday afternoon, configure the block filters for that availability. Separately, choose the search windows during which you want FlexShark checking for those blocks. After saving the schedule, use the global Start control on the Dashboard. Saving a schedule alone does not turn searching on.

If the bot is on but no blocks are accepted

First check whether the current time falls inside an enabled search window. Then review account readiness and the filters you saved. Open Block History to distinguish rejected offers from missed offers and accepted blocks. A rejected offer can be consistent with your rules; widening every filter at once makes it harder to understand what changed.

If blocks are accepted, review them in Calendar and confirm that you can complete them. If no suitable offers are available, automation cannot create availability or guarantee a booking. For an account error you cannot resolve, use Help and Support and describe the screen and status you see without sending session tokens.
